Shabbat Message of

Num 11:1 And when the people complained, it displeased YHWH: and YHWH heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of YHWH burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.

Num 11:2 And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto YHWH, the fire was quenched.

Num 11:3 And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of YHWH burnt among them.

Num 11:4 And the mixed multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?

Num 11:5 We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlic:

Num 11:6 But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.

Num 11:7 And the manna was as coriander seed, and the color thereof as the color of bedellium.

Num 11:8 And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil.

Num 11:9 And when the dew fell upon the camp in the night, the manna fell upon it.

Num 11:10 Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent: and the anger of YHWH was kindled greatly; Moses also was displeased.

Num 11:11 And Moses said unto YHWH, Wherefore hast thou afflicted thy servant? and wherefore have I not found favor in thy sight, that thou layest the burden of all this people upon me?

Num 11:12 Have I conceived all this people? have I begotten them, that thou shouldest say unto me, Carry them in thy bosom, as a nursing father beareth the sucking child, unto the land which thou sworest unto their fathers?

Num 11:13 Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh, that we may eat.

Num 11:14 I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.

Num 11:15 And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I have found favor in thy sight; and let me not see my wretchedness.

Num 11:16 And YHWH said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou knowest to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with thee.

Num 11:17 And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.

Num 11:18 And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for ye have wept in the ears of YHWH, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore YHWH will give you flesh, and ye shall eat.

Num 11:19 Ye shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days;

Num 11:20 But even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you: because that ye have despised YHWH which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt?

Num 11:21 And Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month.

Num 11:22 Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to suffice them?

Num 11:23 And YHWH said unto Moses, Is YHWH's hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.

Num 11:24 And Moses went out, and told the people the words of YHWH, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them round about the tabernacle.

Num 11:25 And YHWH came down in a cloud, and spoke unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.

Num 11:26 But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in the camp.

Num 11:27 And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp.

Num 11:28 And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My Master Moses, forbid them.

Num 11:29 And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would Elohim that all YHWH's people were prophets, and that YHWH would put his spirit upon them!

Num 11:30 And Moses got him into the camp, he and the elders of Israel.

Num 11:31 And there went forth a wind from YHWH, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth.

Num 11:32 And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp.

Num 11:33 And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ere it was chewed, the wrath of YHWH was kindled against the people, and YHWH smote the people with a very great plague.

Num 11:34 And he called the name of that place Kibroth-hattaavah: because there they buried the people that lusted.

Num 11:35 And the people journeyed from Kibroth-hattaavah unto Hazeroth; and abode at Hazeroth.

Comes From Walking in Our Lusts!

Jas 1:13-17 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of YHWH: for YHWH cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: (14) But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. (15) Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. (16) Do not err, my beloved brethren. (17) Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Jud 1:1-25 Jude, the servant of YHWSHUA Messiah, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by YHWH the Father, and preserved in YHWSHUA Messiah, and called. (2) Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied. (3) Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. (4) For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, unrighteous men, turning the grace of our Elohim into lasciviousness, and denying the only Master YHWH, and our Master YHWSHUA Messiah. (5) I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that YHWH, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. (6) And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. (7) Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. (8) Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. (9) Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, YHWH rebuke thee. (10) But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. (11) Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah. (12) These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; (13) Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. (14) And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, YHWH cometh with ten thousands of his saints, (15) To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are unrighteous among them of all their unrighteous deeds which they have unrighteous committed, and of all their hard speeches which unrighteous sinners have spoken against him. (16) These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage. (17) But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Master YHWSHUA Messiah; (18) How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own unrighteous lusts. (19) These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. (20) But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, (21) Keep yourselves in the love of YHWH, looking for the mercy of our Master YHWSHUA Messiah unto eternal life. (22) And of some have compassion, making a difference: (23) And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. (24) Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, (25) To the only wise YHWH our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

2Ti 4:2-4 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. (3) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; (4) And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

1Co 10:6-11 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted. (7) Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. (8) Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand. (9) Neither let us tempt Messiah, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents. (10) Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer. (11) Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. (For our Example)

1Pe 2:11-12 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; (12) Having your conversation honest among the unbelievers: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify YHWH in the day of visitation.

And a Lack of Faith in YHWH!

Num 14:26-37 And YHWH spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron saying, (27) How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me. (28) Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith YHWH, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you: (29) Your carcasses shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, which have murmured against me, (30) Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I swore to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun. (31) But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised. (32) But as for you, your carcasses, they shall fall in this wilderness. (33) And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcasses be wasted in the wilderness. (34) After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise. (35) I YHWH have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die. (36) And the men, which Moses sent to search the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up a slander upon the land, (37) Even those men that did bring up the evil report upon the land, died by the plague before YHWH.

Heb 11:1-6 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (2) For by it the elders obtained a good report. (3) Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of YHWH, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. (4) By faith Abel offered unto YHWH a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, YHWH testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. (5) By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because YHWH had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased YHWH. (6) But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to YHWH must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

And Looking at Circumstances

Deu 1:26-28 Notwithstanding ye would not go up, but rebelled against the commandment of YHWH your Elohim: (27) And ye murmured in your tents, and said, Because YHWH hated us, he hath brought us forth out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us. (28) Whither shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims there. (Looking at circumstances)

Joh 6:53-61 Then YHWSHUA said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. (54) Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. (55) For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. (56) He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. (57) As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. (58) This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live forever. (59) These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum. (60) Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is a hard saying; who can hear it? (61) When YHWSHUA knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?

Eph 5:15-17 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, (16) Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. (17) Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of YHWH is.

Brings Heaviness to the Heart

Job 9:27 If I say, I will forget my complaint, I will leave off my heaviness, and comfort myself:

Psa 42:5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in Elohim: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

Overwhelmes our Spirit

Psa 77:1-3 To the chief Musician, to Jeduthun, A Psalm of Asaph. I cried unto Elohim with my voice, even unto Elohim with my voice; and he gave ear unto me. (2) In the day of my trouble I sought YHWH: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted. (3) I remembered Elohim, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.

Psa 142:1-3 Maschil of David; A Prayer when he was in the cave. I cried unto YHWH with my voice; with my voice unto YHWH did I make my supplication. (2) I poured out my complaint before him; I showed before him my trouble. (3) When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.

It wasn't until David stopped complaining and began praising that he was delivered! Complaining, murmering, and whining brings defeat into our lives.. Praise brings the victory!

Praising, not Complaining Brings Happiness, Joy, and Victory!

Psa 34:1-4 A Psalm of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed. I will bless YHWH at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. (2) My soul shall make her boast in YHWH: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. (3) O magnify YHWH with me, and let us exalt his name together. (4) I sought YHWH, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

Psa 144:11-15 (11) Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood: (12) That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace: (13) That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets: (14) That our oxen may be strong to labor; that there be no breaking in, nor going out ; that there be no complaining in our streets. (15) Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose Elohim is YHWH.

Jas 2:6-10 But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? (7) Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called? (8) If ye fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, ye do well: (9) But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. (10) For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Psa 95:2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
