THE BEER SWEATER

by Melissa Martensen

for when you love your beer enough to want to keep it toasty warm

Finished measurements
Chest: 8 inches
Length: 7 inches (with turtle neck unrolled)

materials

Approx 65 yds/60 m of any sport weight yarn

1 set US #3/3.25mm double-point needles

4 stitch markers (one should be a different color to denote the beginning of the round)

2 stitch holders

Tapestry needle

gauge

26 sts/32 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch

pattern notes

I work the sleeves first because a) then they’re done and b) then you don’t have to break the yarn when your knitting the body, giving you two less ends to weave in.
