Restoring Hope Transplant House recently had the great pleasure of partnering with the Rock River Valley Blood Center and the National Marrow Donor Program to bring their "Thanks Mom" Marrow Donor Drive to the Dane County area.

This drive showed the incredible giving of complete strangers for the well being of patients needing a marrow donor. Over 250 people came out on Friday, May 9th to become part of the national registry.

Every day, 6,000 patients are in need of a life-saving marrow transplant, and only 30 percent of those will have a match within their family. So those that came to give their consent to be added to the registry are true Heroes.

Our hope is to make this a yearly commitment.
