The Thirteenth of March carries special significance for many Scientologists; it is the birthday of their scion and savior, Layafette Ron Hubbard. This is no surprise to us: Hubbard was a charismatic and engaging speaker, and he advertised his cult well. He was also a great manipulator of men: "All men are your slaves," he once wrote, "You can be merciless whenever your will is crossed and you have the right to be merciless." It was this ruthlessness that allowed him to drive thousands upon thousands into his cult, for his own personal benefit.
To celebrate the legacy of this criminal, Anonymous shall host a party on the weekend of his date of birth. Anonymous will gather again at churches around the world, bearing delicious cakes and good cheer. We will then eat these cakes, as is our way. We will then make merry. We wish there to be no doubt about our seriousness in our intentions, and yet we also wish to show that we can be beings of kindness and compassion as well. We in no way wish to protest the beliefs of Scientology, or the Scientologists themselves. If they so wish, they are welcome to come out of their cages and make merry with us. The gifts we bear will be those of knowledge, reason, and free speech.
Also, during our preparations for this grand event, Anonymous will be coordinating a massive effort to expose the Church's various tax frauds, and campaigning to Congress to have their tax-exempt status rescinded. Again, we have no intention of halting our opposition.
In conclusion, we would appreciate it greatly if each church could release a statement stating a preference of cake and frosting flavor. This is Operation Party Hard, set for March Fifteenth.
