MPNA Neighborhood Meeting Minutes  -- DRAFT

December 2, 2008


  1. Welcome and Introductions. The meeting was convened by Vice President Todd Davis at 6:38pm.
  2. Approval of minutes. The minutes from November 11th, 2008 were reviewed and approved with one spelling correction on a motion from Karen Zimmer and Cassie Niemann.

  4. Get Proud!
    1. Home Tour Update. Cassie Niemann reported that the cocktail party will accept registrations all the way up to the event, including payment at the door, so all are welcome to attend. She reported there will be a horse-drawn carriage for the event, available for a $3 ticket. Volunteers are still needed to be at the refreshment stop to talk about the neighborhood to those who attend.

  8. New business
    1. January's meeting will be our annual potluck dinner. The block captains are needed to spread the word about this since there will be no January newsletter distributed.
    2. JB Schuelein reported that the Challenge Grant for the Neighborhood endowment fund continues through December 31st, 2008.
  9. The meeting adjourned at 7:06pm on a motion from Karen Zimmer.
