MPNA Neighborhood Meeting Minutes -- APPROVED FINAL
November 11, 2008
- Welcome and Introductions. The meeting was convened by President Jackie Johnson at 6:37pm.
- Approval of minutes. The minutes from October 7th, 2008 were reviewed and approved on a motion from Ann Dell and a second from Karen Zimmer.
- Get Involved!
- Home Tour Update. Cassie Niemann reported that things are on track for the home tour and handed out tickets to those who wished to help with selling them. Jackie Johnson reported that she needed assistance helping to secure advertising for the home tour booklet. Cassie reported that help is still needed with distributing posters and Jackie Johnson solicited volunteers to help with this distribution. Cassie invited all to attend the Home Tour planning meeting on Thursday, November 13th.
- University of Oklahoma Big Event. Jackie Johnson reported that OU had contact us to ask if we will utilize their students to help around the neighborhood in March 2009. JB Schuelein agreed to follow up with them.
- Get Proud!
- Billboard Update. Jackie Johnson reminded everyone about the hearing on November 13th at 1:30pm at the Oklahoma County Courthouse. Settlement offers that have been made have not been accepted and this meeting is perhaps the last effort to show support for our cause and possibly dissuade the billboard company from going forward.

- JB Schuelein mentioned that the endowment fund challenge grant expires on December 31st and wanted to encourage anyone to contribute to the endowment fund.
