Hello Everybody,


I’m guessing most of you are wondering “What is Greg sending out an E-mail for?” I’m not really one to reach out and talk to people. For those of you that I haven’t talked to in a long time, which is most of you, I’m married and have a 3 year old son now. Family life is good. Having a child is everything I expected and more. Having him say “daddy is here” when I come home from work is great.


Like a lot of you, I grew up a Seventh Day Adventist. I’m actually a 4th generation Adventist. I went to Adventist schools my whole life from 1st – college. I had mandatory classes where I studied everything from history of all churches to what the 27 Adventist fundamental beliefs were. The only thing I seem to remember and have an interest in was end time prophecy. It seems every year I had at least 1 Bible class. I have actually read the Bible through 2 complete times. But, I still didn’t feel like I knew anything about the Bible.


About 6 months after 9-11, I had an experience. I became “saved”. I was really on fire for the lord. Well, I can’t say “really”, I tried to do some things. I went on 3 mission trips. I did have the feeling and understanding of being saved, but I never shared it with other people. I can honestly say that if Jesus comes in the clouds of Glory, that he is taking me with him. It is a great and amazing feeling. (If you do not know that you are going to go to heaven, and you aren’t completely sure about it, please talk to somebody that can help you understand it. But, I kind of lost that fire. I started playing computer games again. I sat and watched T.V., which was bad because I wasn’t spending that time for God. So, for a long time, I felt guilty that I wasn’t doing anything for God.


Less than a month ago, I decided to get rid of all of my distractions and concentrate on what was important. I didn’t throw away the T.V. but sometimes I think I should. I did stop watching prime time stuff. I concentrate mainly on news and 3ABN. I stopped playing all computer games!!


I really feel like Jesus is coming so very very soon, within our generation. (I heard Doug Bachelor say a generation was 40 years. Speaking of Doug Bachelor, I saw Alex on one of his videos.) Do you know that life on earth is close to 6000 years? Nobody is exactly sure of how old it is. I have read that we are 6012 years. This is 4004 years to Jesus’ birth. 2008 years after = 6012. I have also heard some say that Jesus’ death marks 4000 years in the year 31 A.D. This would be 6008-31 = 5977 years. That would leave 23 years until 6000 total. The reason I bring this up, is because we know there is 1000 years in heaven. (The Millennium) 6000 + 1000 = 7000. It seems more than a coincidence to me. The Bible uses the number 7 in a lot of things. A quick search for the word seven in the KJV it comes up 463 times. This is just a very simple way of looking at how we are close to the end of time.


As I said earlier, I had an interest in end time Prophecy since I was a kid. Maybe it was just the pictures that I saw of the beasts of Revelation when Pastor Dobkins was doing his revelation seminars, but I still remember them.

I want to try to give you a really quick synopsis of what I think the Bible is saying as it relates to how much time we have left on earth.


The Bible relates to us from Daniels time, all the way to when Jesus comes the second time, by showing us different kingdoms that are going to be in power.


The First Kingdom is Babylon until 538 B.C.. Dan 2:37 Thou, O king, [art] a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. Dan 2:38 And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou [art] this head of gold.


The Second Kingdom is Media Persia until 331 B.C. Dan 8:20 The ram which thou sawest having [two] horns [are] the kings of Media and Persia.


The Third Kingdom is Greece until 168 B.C. Dan 8:21 And the rough goat [is] the king of Grecia: and the great horn that [is] between his eyes [is] the first king.


The Fourth Kingdom is Rome until 476 A.D. Dan 2:40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all [things]: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.


Rome is then broken into 10 kingdoms:

  1. Lombards

  2. Alemanni

  3. Anglo-Saxons

  4. Ostrogoths

  5. Brugundians

  6. Franks

  7. Suevi

  8. Vandals

  9. Visigoths

  10. Heruli

This was the beginning of the modern nations of Europe; some strong, some weak. Seven of them still exist today in Europe. For example, the Anglo-Saxons became the English, the Franks became the French, the Alemannians became the Germans, and the Lombards became the Italians. Dan 2:41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. Dan 7:24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom [are] ten kings [that] shall arise:


According to history, 538 A.D., is the year when the papacy began to reign freely over Europe. Vigilius ascended the papal chair (538 A.D.) under the military protection of Belisarius. 3 of the 10 kingdoms were wiped out.

Dan 7:24 Cont. and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.


Papal Rome wound 1798 A.D. This is really amazing because the time prophecy predicts that this will happen in 1260 years. We can see this happening by looking at history. 1798 in which year Napoleon’s general Berthier marched into Rome, deposed the Pope, and carried him into exile where he died. Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days. Dan 7:25 And he shall speak [great] words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.




But we all know Papal Rome is still here, so what happened? The Bible says the wound is healed! Rev 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.


When was it healed? 1929 A.D. The Lateran Treaty. Quote from Wikipedia:

“The Lateran Treaty is one of the Lateran Pacts of 1929 or Lateran Accords, three agreements made in 1929 between the Kingdom of Italy and the Holy See, ratified June 7, 1929, ending the "Roman Question".

They consisted of three documents:

  1. A political treaty recognizing the full sovereignty of the Holy See in the State of Vatican City, which was thereby established.

  2. A concordat regulating the position of the Catholic Church and the Catholic religion in the Italian state.

  3. A financial convention agreed on as a definitive settlement of the claims of the Holy See following the losses of its territories and property.”



That takes us to 1929. So, what has happened since then? Rev 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, [and] the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.



7 Kings from 1929 of the Healed beast:

  1. Pius XI 1922-1939

  2. Pius XII 1939-1958

  3. Blessed John XXIII 1958-1963

  4. Paul VI 1963-1978

  5. John Paul I 1978

  6. John Paul II 1978-2005

  7. Benedict XVI 2005-Short Space

We are currently living in the time of the “short space”.

This begs the question “what is next?” Here is the next verse: Rev 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.


Looks like there is going to be an EIGHTH king. So, who is the beast that was and is not? Back up 3 verses. Rev 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.


Now back up some more. Rev 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.


Who is the scarlet or red beast? Rev 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.


Who is the red dragon? Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

That old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan.

That is right Satan is the next to be king!!

I really truly believe that the end is soon. Maybe my interpretation is incorrect. What if it is correct? Are you ready? If Jesus came in the clouds of glory today, would you be going to heaven with him?


Don’t you want as many people to go to heaven as possible? Are you doing your part to help spread the good news?


Maybe you are like me; you don’t really feel like you have a talent to share the word. This is really my first attempt. This E-mail you are reading. If nothing else, go ahead and share this with your friends.


One more thing and this is important. Do not be deceived, Satan is going to reign. Maybe I’m wrong about when, but he IS going to reign. The Bible tells us to not be deceived. Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Mat 24:25 Behold, I have told you before.


Jesus is coming in the clouds to take us to HEAVEN. Mat 24:30 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Mat 24:31 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.


We will then be in Heaven for 1000 years. Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.


Then there will be the REAL New Jerusalem on earth. Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
