Workshop Content
1. To what degree does my temperament . . .
a. encourage or discourage collaboration efforts?
b. motivate or deflate the morale of teachers?
c. help or hinder learning in my media center?
2. How can I build upon the strengths of teachers on my collaborative team?
3. What five key ingredients are necessary to truly MOTIVATE students and co-workers from the inside out?
4. What are the five dysfunctions of a team and how can we use them to improve our teamwork?
5. What resources are available on NC WiseOwl to assist in collaboration efforts at the school level?
There are several informal personality style and behavioral preference tools available on Kaleidoscope to help staff members better understand one another. We will explore:
• how different temperaments and personality types deal with conflict so that you can anticipate their approach or resistance to it,
• what motivates the different temperaments and personality types,
• how they prefer to manage time and make decisions,
• how to communicate with different personalities
• how they operate under pressure,
• what their greatest needs and desires are based on personality type
