A Word from the Student Minister

Dear Friends in Faith,

Today we hear about the miracle of the man born blind who received his sight through the love of Jesus. One thing you may notice in this story is that no one around this man seems to be happy for him now that he has received this gift. May we always be happy and grateful for the blessings we receive, and for the blessings bestowed on our neighbors. And for the record, I am very happy about the blessing of being privileged to serve this congregation who has made me feel so welcome and loved.

God bless you all! Steve Johnson

ANNOUNCEMENTS!!!

Starting next week, March 9th, all announcements must be written out ahead of the service and given to the Liturgist, who will read them on your behalf. When your announcement is read, please stand.

Lay Ministry Team

Our next meeting will be March 9th. Several people have discerned that their God-given gifts include ministry leadership in the church. If you also have discerned that you have this gift and would like to use it, please see Pastor Deborah soon.

Mission of the Month of March – Sharing Resources, Changing Lives

This month we have the opportunity to contribute to the One Great Hour of Sharing. This offering is one way we all can respond to some of the many needs in our world – from our own United States to some of the poorest nations. This money helps communities affected by natural disasters and people displaced by war. It provides medical and food aid, but it also helps people learn new ways to improve their lives and support their families.

Men's Fellowship and Bible Study

Calling all men in the church who are looking for a deeper walk with God and with your fellow church members! We have formed a solid group of guys who have come together to share our faith journeys and to reflect on the various biblical personalities who might be our models for living the Christian life. All opinions are welcome, there are no right or wrong answers. We simply want to share with each other and open up new horizons for understanding God's will for our lives. If you haven’t joined us yet, please consider it. Your voice will add to the richness of the experience for all of us! Our next meeting will be March 15.

Social Hour

Social Hour Host sign-up list is posted on the hallway bulletin board.  Please consider doing partnership to host a social hour after worship.  It's a great time to gather and share fellowship with each other.

AUDIO Tapes

Audio tapes of the services are available and can be found next to the office foyer bulletin board.
