**Reminder:  Our 2nd PTG meeting is this Thursday at 6:30pm in the Parish Hall**

PASTA FUNDRAISER.  Our second PTG Fundraiser of the year… Pasta!  This is something new and very cute.  There are 25 different “pastas with personality” for sale ranging from sports to collegiate to holiday and of course miscellaneous shapes such as dogs, horses and more.  The company also has gift sets of pasta meals, chilis and soups.  This fundraiser ends Wednesday, November 18th – a week from tomorrow, so let’s start this sooner rather than later.  Sales can be made on-line too.  Visit http://www.funpastafundraising.com and click on “My Account” at the top.  Our account code is “SCBA.”  Our goal for this fundraiser is for each student to sell one dozen (or more…).  If we can accomplish this, we will make 50% of each sale otherwise, we’ll make 40% which is still good, but we’re going for the big 5-0.  Good luck!!

FRESH AND EASY.  A big thank you to those who helped us at Fresh and Easy last week - Pam Wenhe, Ann Padilla, Ann’s sister Auntie Jenny, Dean Tuttle, Diana Ivanjack, Susan Hildebrand, Greg Hildebrand, and our many students.  Huge kudos to Sara Egan for organizing this and taking charge!  Let’s not forget to mention our “Bagger Extraordinaire” Mr. Mamara, who was able to bag groceries, joke with customers and listen to the Yankees game all at the same time.  Thank you everyone for shopping as well and sending your grandparents, cousins and friends to shop too.

We don’t have a final total for the evening, but just in receipts collected we made $347 that evening!  Not bad for just collecting little slips of paper!  We also earned 5% of sales for the evening between 4 and 8pm, and that should be profitable as well.  The store was never empty!  Great job!

BOOKFAIR.  I hope everyone had a chance to attend our Bookfair on Saturday.  For those who spent $25 or more, Spirit Dress day will be Monday, November 16th

WINTER SPORTS.  All permission slips and $40 fees/child are due in the office by Thursday, November 19th.  If your child would like to participate, but finances are an issue, please see Mr. Mamara.  We will be trying to field the following teams:

Soccer:  Kindergarten (co-ed), Girls grades 1-2, Boys grades 1-2, Girls grades 3-4, Boys grades 3-4, JV Girls grades 5-6, and Var Girls grades 7-8

Basketball:  (All teams are boys only) JV “B” 5th grade, JV “A” 6th grade, Var “B” 7th grade & Var “A” 8th grade.  Depending upon the numbers, teams may combine and play to the higher level.
