Developer, Underground Digital Media (part of Insure & Go Insurance Services Ltd), Duke Street

Duties included designing, maintaining and extending Underground Digital Media's extensive portfolio of websites
across over 5,000 domain names including high profile web sites with millions of impressions a day. My biggest achievement

at the company to date has been implementing a social network platform using PHP and MySQL viewed by several

thousand unique visitors a day. While in this position I learnt ASP.NET and Windows Forms programming using .NET framework

versions 2 and 3, making use of new features introduced in these versions such as AJAX controls and LINQ.

March 2006-November 2007

        Responsibilities included maintaining the network and users computers. While I was in this position I also undertook

Talents & hobbies

I am a native English speaker with very good spelling and grammar skills. In addition to this I speak a basic level of German, as well as Japanese to JLPT2 standard. I run a server in my spare time for personal uses such as game servers, Internet video/audio streaming, voice communication using Ventrilo and Teamspeak and websites hosted for friends and acquaintances. In my spare time I translate Japanese anime and manga for fans of the genre. I also enjoy photography and have done some semi-professional work in this field.
