Attenuate or Attenuation: To stretch or make thin.
Compress or Compression: To squish.
Force: A push or pull that gives energy to an object; sometimes causing a change in the motion of the object.
Fluid: A substance that flows easily and takes on the shape of a container.
Gas: Phase in which matter has no definite shape or volume.
Liquid: Phase in which matter has no definite shape, but a definite volume.
Partial Vacuum: A place with nearly nothing.
Vacuum: A place with nothing.
