We talked about how to get new equitment for the school and what else do we need We plan to order some new football goal nets and get some changing room doors. ..

We asked if we could have a 'non school uniform' day for P7-S2 We sent a note home with P7s and secondary We raised £47 towards school funds

What sort of things we would buy for the primary common room We planned to buy lots of nice things (e.g games, toys, DVDs) for the primary common room in Woolworths We bought a lot of nice things and the children enjoyed the toys ect.

Buying things for the primary common room We plan to spend £300 worth of Woolworths vouchers We hope to buy quite a few fun nice things

Organizing the Events and stalls for Children in Need

We planned events like face painting, pupils vs staff football match, sponge the teacher etc

We raised £505 for Children in Need

8 November 2008

What each of us would do eg reading the elegy at the Remembrance Day Service. We planned that the secondary pupil councillors would read the elegy in English and Gaelic and the primary pupil councillors would lay a wreath on behalf of Lionel School.
   6 November 2008 What we needed for the stalls for Children in Need fun day. We planned to phone Swainbost shop to ask if they'd donate a jar of sweets and to phone Events gift shop in Stornoway to ask if they'd donate a teddy. Swainabost shop donated a jar of sweets for 'Guess how many sweets in the jar' and Events donated a teddy for 'Guess the name of the teddy'.

31 October 2008

We asked the Head Teacher about having a 'fancy dress day' for Haloween. We sent a letter out to pupils saying 'if you wear fancy dress you have to pay £1 which will go to school funds' We raised £89 to help with our school trips.

We asked the Head Teacher about having a 'no uniform day'. We planned the 'no uniform day' by sending a note home with pupils We raised £107 to help with our school trips

 We talked about helping to organise a school disco, including games etc

We planned to help run the school end of term disco together with the PTA The disco was fun, and we raised £174.83 for the PTA
