   Powermatic 3520 -Tips, Sources, Links,
Video Review HERE
  • Why this site

    - There is a lot of great Powermatic 3520 lathe knowledge out there that has been posted over the years.  We don't want to lose it or have it buried in the bowels of the internet.

Encourage posting 3520 information on one of the woodturning forums so others can put in their two cents as well.

  • Rude Osolnik (1915 - 2001Originator of the 3520

"And I would turn the outside and then start on the inside. And that’s where I came up with the idea of having Powermatic design a moveable head that slides back and forth, because it used to be you had to lean over your machine to work on the inside. And I had that designed so that the head stock could move down, and I could stand directly in front of it and turn." (From an Oral History)
