Genius Creative PR, Leeds January 2006 –
A small PR consultancy with a broad client base, including the British National Martial Arts Association and Camelot Yorkshire.
With this weekly work placement my responsibilities included; reporting to the MD and being responsible for writing copy for websites as well as trade and press releases, undertaking research on the internet and the telephone and the collection of newspaper cuttings.

Freud Communications, London March – April 2005
At this prestigious PR agency I worked as an Office Junior on the Entertainment Team, whose clients include the Baftas, CD: UK, Shine productions and many other high profile brands.
I was responsible for research on competition and clients on the internet and telephone for the head of the team, taking and electronically filing newspaper cuttings as well as general secretarial duties for the team.

This quirky PR consultancy had a broad client base, with both B2B and consumer clients, I worked with the consumer team.
During this time I had an article printed in ‘The Publican’ magazine written from a press release for the Pub and Bar Show at London Olympia.
My other responsibilities included sitting in on client interviews with the press, Meeting with influencers for London Fashion Week, ‘Follow up’ calling newspapers, TV stations, Government offices, magazines and websites and doing research on the internet and telephone for B2B clients on behalf of the MD,
This consultancy specialized in healthcare products, with clients such as Johnson and Johnson.
Here I was involved with contributing to team brainstorming in meetings, as well as adding to press releases (images and words) and organising press gifts, the latter involving research on the internet and telephone.

In the pub I was promoted to supervisor and then head supervisor. My duties included running the shifts, masterminding breaks and organising the most productive combination of personnel skills in different areas including bar and resturant. I also worked closely with the management team.
