Introduction, overview of the emerging trends landscape
Joyce Tikalsky

Overview of emerging trends landscape:

"How can campus professionals, especially those in student and academic services, learn to use these technologies to think differently about communicating with students and about facilitating learning?" Should we use public services, such as pbwiki or develop custom processes in colleges, departments, and groups? For instance, how could or should these services be used to deliver news or encourage more students to study engineering. Define process requirements by creating "collaboratories."
