Last night (7-13)
– late night steak and caprese salad (9:00 PM ish); good sleep except
for one wake up around 3 AM. Did not hit the bed until 10:30 or
maybe later. A full hour late (up between 5 and 5:30 AM).

3.5 ounces Greek yogurt (plain)
1 tsp honey
.75 c berries

2 slices bacon
1 hard boiled egg
1 oz Italian sausage
Throughout AM
2 oz almonds
Coffee (2 cups) with cream
(mostly decaf) (9:45 AM 1/2 cup of caffeinated)

Green tea with Stevia

Homemade ground beef with cauliflower
“couscous” (3/4 of the container about 1 cup)
(I feel a headache
– tension? Tiredness? Hunger? And having some trouble focusing,
both physically (eyes) and mentally)

Piece of gum
– CHEAT (artificial sweetener) – was craving something
… not sure what.
Plan to workout at 5:30 (run .25/50 squats for four rounds). Pretty tired. We’ll see.
Stomach gurgling already
– just about 15 minutes after I pulled out the piece
of gum. Ick. Even more tired with every passing minute.

avocado (1/3 of one) commercial dressing) – small plastic container

I feel like a sausage; bloated
and gassy. All day. It is all this sitting and having my waistband
cut me off.

Salad with 1 tbsp or so commercial
dressing, some balsamic, touch EVOO
I’m so hungry. I
think I’m not dropping weight because I eat too many calories.
Would like to try and keep most days to between 1400 and 1500 with a
re-feed day every 4 or 5 days.

Cup of decaf tea (black tea)

bloated feeling. Energy is good.
7-16-08
Took two days off working
out. Feeling better, but not rested. Did not sleep well,
partly due to a cat playing in my bed around 3 AM.
7 AM
Walked for an Americano (decaf),
no creamer.
8 AM
Two eggs (cooked earlier in
about 1 TBSP EVOO) with about 1.5 cups raw spinach and handful of grape
tomatoes – all heated in microwave for about 30 seconds.
9 AM
1 ounce almonds
9:30 AM
Green tea with agave
11:45 AM
Veggies (zucchini, broccoli, cauliflower, sautéed) about 1.5-2 cups
1 ounce steak (filet)
4:00 PM
5.3 ounce container Greek yogurt (split with honey, probably 4 ounces of yogurt)
1 TBSP (or a little more) honey
.5 cup berries
Feeling good. Hungry
but not starved. Sleepy, but not exhausted. Will work out tonight
after one more hour of working.
Hit the gym around 5 PM.
Did dead lift sets and then some sprint/squat sets (4) with some hill
walking on the treadmill for a few minutes. Then stretching.
About 35 or 40 minutes in the gym, total time.
[Dinner is whenever I get home. Usually small. Tonight it was chicken, lettuce, salsa (tomato and onion), avocado, and some almond butter at around 7:30 PM]
