Wednesday August 20 Agenda

1.) Content Management - Martin is webmaster and maintains the site.  Need new brochures and calendar.  Click on workshops and land at Google sites page.  Listing of workshops gets user to agendas & resources.  Large assets (like movies) should be loaded to CTAP server and then link from Google site to asset.  Doing this because Google limits space and CTAP doesn't.

2.) Recommendations for webmaster due Aug. 31.

CONTENT MANAGEMENT & ACCESS: Internal and Public

CTAP website and google site

CTAP Region V Google Site:
1. Public Access: http://ctap5.org
Click the "All New Workshops!" graphic

2. http://sites.google.com/site/ctapvworkshops/Home: google sites (both internal & public)

Workshop format: CTAP banner header is a default. The elements of the workshop will include:
Agenda and Workshop Resources (e.g., web links, support materials, workshop extensions, templates, model uses/samples)

Public access: either CTAP Region V website or directly with our 'google site' url.

Internal staff: we can build from here and keep it "internal" in the process of organizing our workshop. We can also share with one another since we have admin rights: Martin, Paula, Liz, Carolyn, Diana.
Agenda and workshop resources are separate text boxes ('gadget title'). When creating elements of the Agenda add what the item is (e.g., Website, PDF, PPT, podcasting, .mov, .wsf, etc.). Text box: 'wrap' to adjust window to any resolution size.

Uploading to Google site: max is 100MB for group
In progress: team will use SCCOE's server for CTAP to upload our docs/movies, etc. to. TBD

Facilitator's Notes: will be added by each workshop developer. This link will be at the end of the workshop's "Web Resources" list. (It will be a link to a google page with these notes.)
