Storage and File Access
- in the mean time, please save all files and make backups
Files names are to be in the following format:
eg. BigMonsterLeftEye_v001_MC.jpg
Files are to be named using AlternatingCapitals, with different levels of information separated by under_scores.
It will contain a 3 digit version number, and the initials of the person who created it
The final version of a file will be marked Final in the place of the version number
eg. BigMonsterLeftEye_Final_MC.jpg
Please make sure you save each update with a new version number, and take care not to overwrite existing files
Files should be stored in correct folders, organised in a clear hierarchy such as the model below:
Each person is responsible for saving regularly and backing up his/her own work
Team leaders are responsible for collecting all appropriate files (working files and drafts) at the end of each day and backing up
