Vendor Information:
The Handmade Expo will be held Saturday, August 8th from 12-7pm in the Family Fun Stage area of the Ohio State Fair. It is organized by the Columbus Crafty Cotillion, a collective of crafters and artists working together to support the growth of creative industry and the appreciation of handmade goods.
Each vendor will receive a 6ft x 2ft table and 2 chairs under the covered area of the Family Fun Stage. Vendors will also receive a parking pass and two admission tickets to the fair for August 8th.
Vendors are responsible for providing all display items and merchandise, setting up and tearing down booth, and attending the booth during Expo hours of 12-7pm. You MAY NOT tear down early.
The items sold at the Handmade Expo MUST be handmade by the artist listed in the application or by a designated representative of the artist. All artists must reside in the state of Ohio.
Electricity may be provided, but is not guaranteed. If you require electricity, please note that in the application.
Please note that this is a family-friendly event and items sold must reflect that atmosphere.
Booth sharing is permitted as long as all participating vendors and merchandise have been juried. If you would like to apply to with another person or group of people, please list one person as the primary contact and include information on all participating crafters and their merchandise on the application.
Applications must include a signed copy of the Application Form, the Application/Booth Fee of $40 (payable by check or money order), and photos or samples of the items being submitted for consideration. Please note that the photos will be the only representation of your work available to the jury.
Application deadline is JUNE 1, 2009.
The Handmade Expo is a juried event. Applications will be reviewed by the jury and vendor notifications will be sent in mid-June. Each vendor will receive a vendor packet including detailed information on the event including location and load in/out times.
If you are not accepted, your Application/Booth Fee will be returned in full.
Application/Booth fees for accepted vendors are NON-REFUNDABLE after June 25, 2009.
