1. Open up these tabs in your Flock Internet browser: Google Reader, Google Docs, Google News, Newstrust.net and Youth Voices.

2. Search Google News and Newstrust.net. 
Read for a time about the things you're interested in.

3. Open your Google Reader.  Add rss of the feeds from #2 to your Reader.

4. Based on what you've been reading in your Google Reader, compose a post in Youth Voices that incorporates at least two different sources (snippets).  Be sure to cite these sources.

5. Add a discussion to your Youth Voices blog that has the following elements:


6. Tag Writing.  Search for, or click on, one of the keywords (tags) associated with a piece of any writing you've done on Youth Voices so far.  Find other people who've written about the same topic, read one of their blog posts, and comment on their blog entry.  Write constructive comments


7. Talk Back.  Go to one of your posts that had comments on it.  Read the blog of a student who commented on your discussion.  Comment back to the student or students who've commented on yours.



a lot of learning starts with our own inquiry.  We have questions and  we search for meaningful answers.  So start with your own inquiry questions.  What questions do you have about the world, your communities, yourself.
