Sunday afternoon July 27 come down after the beach (5pm) and enjoy the old school authentic Jamaican sounds of the Bluebeats. Admission is Free and all ages are welcome.

The Bluebeats recapture the sound of the original Jamaican ska, old school Reggae and Rock Steady, creating a sound that is at the same time both classic and fresh. By combining strong vocals and rock-solid rhythms with original songs and Jamaican classics, The Bluebeats have been making fans whenever they perform.

If you plan on coming over by boat make a day of it, you can dock at the Kismet Inn Marina. The fee is $60.00 for the day but you get it back at the Kismet Inn restaurant (Best Deal on Fire Island). You can Beach your boat if you like just west of "The Out" on South Beach (2 anchors highly recommended). So set a course by boat to 40 83.257 N, 073 12.301 W, by car to Robert Moses State Park field five and walk East about a mile to Kismet or take the Fire Island Ferry from Bay Shore (631.665.3600) or a water Taxi from the other Fire Island communities. Get that Island feeling listening to great music while watching a sunset together with good friends!
