CUFF

Cast on 28 sts and work in ribbing for 18 rows.

Row 19 - knit

Row 20 – K2, * k2tog, yo, K1 * , repeat * * , K2

Row 21 to 24 – knit

INSTEP

Row 25 (RS) – place first and last 10 sts on a holder and work 11 rows in garter st on center 8 sts with a other piece of yarn. Cut yarn.

Place sts from holders back on the needle.

K10, pick up and knit 7 sts along side of instep, K8, pick up and knit 7 sts along the other side of the instep, K10 – total 42 sts.

Row 26 – K17, Kfb, K6, Kfb, K17 total 44 sts.

Continue in garter stitch for 10 rows.

SOLE

Row 37 (RS) – K3, SK2P, K10, K3tog, K6, SK2P, K10, K3tog, K3 – total 36 sts

Row 38 - knit

Row 39 (RS) – K2, SK2P, K8, K3tog, K4, SK2P, K8, K3tog, K2 – total 28 sts

Row 40 - knit

Row 41 (RS) – K1, SK2P, K6, K3tog, K2, SK2P, K6, K3tog, K1 – total 20 sts

Row 42 & 43 - knit

Row 44 – K10. Place the 2 halfs of the stitches together and bind of with the 3-needle technic, on WS.

Finishing:

Sew back seam, reversing at cuff. Weave in all ends. Make 2 cords and weave them through the holes.
