My Packs on Packzoola (RadarSync.com and Packzoola.com) 

Packzoola is the newest and most exciting part of RadarSync!  It helps you create
and discover collections of software to backup, share, and download.  

This feature works together with the My Packs folder in RadarSync software.  
Packs you create using RadarSync software can be viewed and managed on the
website, and vice versa.


You can use Packzoola in two ways:

1) Create Packs:  Create collections of software (Packs) that you can save on
your own My Packs page.  We'll keep your Packs updated with the latest versions
for you, and you can download them whenever, wherever you want.  Use your
Packs as an online backup or an easy way to bookmark download files for
interesting software you discover.

2) Discover software:  Search our database and/or browse Packs made by other
users to find new items to add to your Packs.


Key info:

 Click on the Pack it! icon anywhere on the website to add an item to
an existing Pack or create a new Pack to put it in

  Discover Packs that contain the software title you're viewing

  Send information about a Pack or software title to friends or 
                            family

  Become a follower of a Pack and get notified when its owner
                           updates it
 


Getting Started:


- To get started, login to your RadarSync/Packzoola account.  If you don't have one,
you'll be prompted to create one.

- To view and edit Packs you've created, click My Packs from the website header.

- When you're logged in, you can edit your profile by clicking the Profile link in the
website header. The more information you enter about yourself, the better the
Packzoola community will be!  Any public packs you create will display your screen
name, country, gender, industry and hobbies. 



- To download Packs you can visit the Pack detail page by clicking on the Pack name.
There you can use RadarSync's free PC Updater to download the entire Pack in one click.  
Or to download individual items in a Pack, just select the items you choose. 


Creating Packs:
The simplest way to create a Pack is to start browsing or searching RadarSync's website
for items you'd like to Pack:

-- enter terms into the search bar at the top of the website header
-- select 'Software' or 'Drivers' from the website menu, and then search or browse
     our huge database of files to download and pack
-- log in to RadarSync software and select items already installed on your computer
        to Pack.




You'll notice the Pack it! icon next to every software item listed in your search result.  
Just click the icon to add an item to a Pack and a Pack it! drawer will slide down from
the top of your browser where you can add that item to a new or existing Pack.

When your search results include Packs, just click on the Pack title to visit that Pack's 
detail page. There you can learn more about it and the person who made it.  If you like
the Pack, you can download it, become a follower (Track it!), or create your own a copy
of it (Pack it!).




My Packs -- Managing and Editing your Packs:

Once you've created a few Packs, or added a few items to a Pack, it's time to visit your
My Packs page to edit and manage them.

You can also use My Packs to create a new Pack. Clicking the New Pack button will
create an empty Pack in your list. You can add a title and description, then search
or browse the website to add items to the Pack.


My Packs lists your Packs, and the number of items, Trackers, and Popularity for
each Pack. 

Trackers are other Packzoola users who are Tracking or following your
public Pack.  If a Pack is private (i.e. you've chosen not to allow other
Packers to view it), it will not have any Trackers.

Popularity indicates the number of times a public Pack has been viewed
by other Packers.

Clicking on the arrow next to any Pack displays the Pack descriptions, tags, and items.  





Editing:

Clicking the pencil icon next to the Pack name lets you edit your Pack's description
and tags.  

This is your way to tell the community what your vision is for the Pack and to help
other Packers find it. You can also this form to give credit if you got the idea for
this Pack from someone else (a blog or a magazine), or to mark your Pack as private
if you don't want to share it with the community.

* Pay particular attention to the Topics/Professions tags in this form.  These help
like-minded users find your Pack. Careful tagging will gain you more followers and will
build a better community for all Packzoola users.


Clicking the pencil icon next to an item in your Pack lets you add or edit it note about
that item.
