Interested in an ftp client that works inside a browser, here is one and it works great. It works with Firefox and I assume it works with Firefox on a Mac or Linux machine as well as Windows.

When in Firefox use the link: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/684/ and click Install now.

When installed, you many need to restart firefox to get it to appear in the tools menu.

Pull down the tools menu and a new tab will open called FireFTP.

You must first create an account so click on Manage Accounts è New

After you set up your connection use the Connect button to connect to the Stritch Site.

After a few seconds you should be connected to the site and the server will be on the right and your local computer on the left.

As you can see above there are green arrows to move the files from server to computer or computer to server. You will find a lot of features. For example: If you right click on a filename you can rename it. Or create a folder at that location. There are also preferences and logs but the program is simple and intuitive.

Don’t forget to disconnect when done.

Note:If you are using a public computer you might want to use the Quick-Connect feature under Manage Accounts to avoid leaving a password trail.
