15 Days of Relay- Team Captain Style

Beginning Friday, April 3…

15 Days: Friday, April 3^rd. Relay is in TWO WEEKS… Do you know who your team members are? Make sure they’re all signed up! Keep in mind, smaller teams may end up having to share campsites… (awkward!) So try to get as many people on your team as possible NOW! It’s not too late for them to register!! Stop by the front lawn to check out the MINI-RELAY with a cake walk, passes to cut the GUGS line for any new team members that sign up on the spot, and more!

14 Days: Saturday, April 4^th. Send out your emails if you’ve been putting them off. Set a good example for your team.

13 Days: Sunday, April 5^th. Received a few donations from those emails you sent out? Now’s the time to email your team members to follow your example and do the same- aim 10 e-mails each today. Sunday afternoons are also a good time to go door to door off campus- old school, but it works!

12 Days: Monday, April 6^th.Pick a day, and sign your team up to table. Sell Relay shirts, or raise money in any other way you can think of. And start thinking of a campsite theme!

11 Days: Tuesday, April 7^th. EASTER EGG HUNT!! Candy and prizes are hidden in the eggs all around the front lawn! Get your team to come out, and join us in tabling around the eggs. Let’s see some relay shirts out on campus? Get people PUMPED for Relay. Oh, and maybe raise your fundraising goal by $100? Give yourself a challenge for the week 

10 Days: Wednesday, April 8^th. Feel Like your team STILL isn’t fundraising? Schedule an email party with your mentor ASAP!

9 Days: Thursday, April 9^th.Want to have an on-campus fundraiser, either at the event or before? Talk with your team to make it happen. See the fundraising guidebook at www.RelayGU.org for ideas.

8 Days: Friday, April 10^th. Relay Restaurant Day! Put on purple and go out to designated restaurants that will donate part of the night’s proceeds to Relay (Locations TBA, pending restaurant approval- watch for an email!)

7 Days: Saturday, April 11^th While you’re home, go door to door in your neighborhood asking for donations- it’s a quick way to make a TON of money!

6 Days: Sunday, April 12^th. Happy Easter! Ask each family member for $5 (or more…) today!

5 Days: Monday, April 13^th. If you’re planning on doing more fundraising, DO IT TODAY. EMAILS EMAILS EMAILS! Remind your team that RELAY IS THIS FRIDAY! And pick a day for your team to table this week!

4 Days: Tuesday, April 14^th. Brainstorm with your team- figure out campsite decorations!

3 Days: Wednesday April 15^th Team shopping trip! Snacks, decorations, and anything you might need for an onsite fundraiser

2 Days: Thursday, April 16^th Any last- last- last minute fundraising? NOW is the time to do it. Or send your thank yous to people that have already donated. Then get some sleep!

1 Day- FRIDAY APRIL 17^th!
