    Meeting Minutes

    1. IRS update
      1. Kati and Remington explain how IRS thought we were social welfare organization more suited to 501c4.  We immediately called Legal Filings and informed them, and they'll contact IRS.  IRS provided extension till Feb 18th. 
    2. UNT shop day: Feb 19
      1. Paperwork Update
        1. Nic motions to push date back to 26th so we can have 2 weeks to publicize.  Devin seconds. 
        2. Andy needs to turn in paperwork on Wed after getting sponsor signature.
      2. QCBS’s contact with Dean of Students
      3. Banner Progress
        1. Remington and Kati have material, Howard mentions UNT has banner guidelines on student orgs page. 
      4. Donations
        1. From Bluebonnet
          1. Rim strips
          2. Nic will check with Daniel, we should start amassing supplies now.
        2. From other shops
    3. Jazz Festival
      1. Bike Valet progress
        1. Remington reports that City coordinator can give us space to valet park bikes, but we have to handle all aspects of work. 
        2. Devin suggests we put signs at all pedestrian choke points directing cyclists to our valet station.
        3. Kati motions for a recon to check out parking area.  Steering committee meeting to follow.  Meet at Batner 8PM Tues to recon.  Howard seconds. 
    4. Redbud Festival: April 11th
      1. We can have a booth as a state non profit; $40 for outside booth, must have our own awning.
      2. Devin motions that QCBS gets 10 foot outside ($40) at Redbud.  Nic seconds. 
        1. bike valet here as practice for arts & jazz fest?
          1. Remington motions that we bike valet for Redbud.  Nic seconds.
          2. Remington will contact coordinators at KDB to arrange.
        2. Nic motions that we raffle some bikes at Redbud, Devin seconds. 
    5. Brochure
      1. Remington passes out new brochures. 
        1. Devin motions that we should translate brochure into Spanish. Nic seconds.
        2. Nic and Bibi will translate pdf after Remington sends file.
        3. Nic mentions that we should start doing newsletter again.
    6. Storage space offer
      1. Loop 288 by Lowes, Denton Moving and Storage offers 10 x 30 space where we can hold public meetings. 
      2. Group agrees to table until April or otherwise brought up. 

V. New Business

    1. NTEEC
      1. Jordan explains Bike Rally idea for Earth Day on UNT campus, 2PM.  Potential for Work Day on campus??  April 20th-24th. 
      2. Group calls steering committee meeting for this Wednesday to further discuss with Jordan.
    2. Thank you letter to Eric’s parents
