I'll never forget the summer of 2000 when we lived at 122 38th Street
in Sea Isle. One night I came home from work around 3am and you told me
we had to talk. You knew I was tired and pissed that I had just worked
til 3am while everyone else was hanging out all night and having a good
time. I didn't know what this conversation was going to be about -
personally I thought we were getting evicted. You said, "I know all you
want to do is go to sleep but we have a little problem. Someone passed
out in your bed with a lobster pot on their head and we can't wake them
up. We tried everything...but they just won't wake up." I told you it
was no big deal but you felt bad that someone took my bed. You told me
to sleep in your bed for the night and you would take the couch. I
don't actually ever think I got to thank you.
Thanks for everything Joe,
Lou Gana.
