    1. Bella: more on the movie

      1. Lauren Palmieri came to tell us about the movie.

      2. Another showing will be on Sunday, Nov. 4th at the Cardinal Regali Center from 12-3:30pm. Those who attended the showing on Oct. 24th enjoyed the movie, so go see it!

      3. Free lunch and mass on Nov. 4th. For more info, contact Lauren at lpalmier@slu.edu.

    2. Make A Difference Day

      1. We went to St. Vincent DePaul thrift store and sorted clothes.

      2. The money earned by the store goes to help the needy in the St. Louis area, so we did make a difference!

    3. SLU Halloween Party Booth

      1. SLU is hosting a Halloween Carnival for kids from the St. Louis area. The carnival will be from 4-6pm on Halloween in the BSC ballroom.

      2. SFL will have a booth at the carnival with orange oobleck (cornstarch and water) and materials for the children to make masks. Stop by to join in the fun!

    4. T-Shirts

      1. If you have not already paid for and/or picked up your SFL T-shirt, please do so as soon as possible or at next week’s meeting.

      2. Contact Emily at daltoner@slu.edu if you need to arrange a time/place to pay for or pick up your T-shirt.

  4. New Business

    1. Relay for Life

      1. Relay is an event to raise awareness about cancer and to raise money for the American Cancer Society. It’s an all-night relay (walk) with entertainment, and it’s a lot of fun!

      2. This year, Relay is April 19-20th, and SFL will be having a group at Relay again.

      3. We are looking for a team captain. If you are interested, contact Kathleen at neunerk@slu.edu.

    2. Committees

      1. March for Life: Greg Ellermann and Matt Von Rueden

        1. Dates of the trip: Saturday, January 19th-Wednesday 23rd

        2. We will get back early on Wednesday, so you will only miss one day of school.

        3. We need to choose which conference we will attend while we are in DC, the Students for Life of America Conference (on Sunday) or the Cardinal O’Connor Conference at Georgetown University (on Monday).

        4. The SFLA conference will be a little more expensive, but it is longer and includes two meals.

        6. We will be sending out an email at the end of the week to get your feedback because we need to make a decision before the next meeting.

      2. Run for Their Lives: Katie, Caitlin, and Ellie

        1. This is a 5K run/walk that will be held in the spring.

        2. Money earned through the run will be used to establish a scholarship fund to help a SLU woman experiencing an unplanned pregnancy.

        3. Run Committees: Fundraising, Advertising, General Help

    3. Pack the Buses

      1. Date: November 13th

      2. Pack the Buses is an event for people to get information on and get excited about the March. There will be an attendance prize of a free trip, as well as other games and prizes.
