    2. Youth Rally Recap

      1. On Monday, Kevin Grillot, Caitlin Boyce, and Briana Klosterman gave a presentation at a pro-life youth rally for high school students.

      2. The presentation went really well. The high school kids were really excited to hear about being in a pro-life group on a college campus.

    3. Make A Difference Day

      1. October 27th, events start at 8:30am and will be finished in the early afternoon. Lunch and T-shirt provided.

      2. We already sent in the registration, but we may be able to add a couple people. Contact Kathleen at neunerk@slu.edu.

    4. Respect Life Week Pictures

      1. If you are interested in writing a short article for the Heartbeat, contact Sarah at schumasn@slu.edu.

      2. Possible topics are a “Life Lesson” about an abortion-related issue, a personal testimonial about why you are pro-life or about a pro-life experience, or a news article about a current pro-life issue. If you go to the “Bella” movie (see below), you could write a review!

The terrible miscalculation of young women is that abortion can make them "un-pregnant," that it will restore them to who they were before their crisis. But a woman is never the same once she is pregnant, whether the child is kept, adopted, or killed. Abortion may be a kind of resolution, but it is not the one the woman most deeply longs for, nor will it even preserve her sense of self.
