Despite a little rain in the beginning, the members who volunteered and their buddies had a great time at the games
Thanks to Ginny Owens for organizing the event!
Relay for Life
Relay was a lot of fun, ten members from the SFL team were able to attend
Overall, over $161,000 was raised for the American Cancer Society
New Business
Scholarship Update
The scholarship committee met with Campus Ministry today and received a lot of positive feedback
SFL Members will receive an informative guide to the Scholarship before the end of the school year
This guide is to help keep momentum going over the summer
Continue talking to people about to the scholarship, but we are still not asking for money. If someone you talk to wants to donate, the guide will help you tell them how to do so.
Chaifetz Arena Update
We have a booth for the Barry Manilow concert on Friday, April 25th from 5-11pm
Enough people have volunteered, but more people can still sign up.
All members volunteering should wear their SFL t-shirt. If you don’t have one and would like to get one, please email sfl@slu.edu
Funnel Cakes
We will be selling funnel cakes at Spring Fever on April 26th
We need to be set up by 10:30am, sell from 11-5, cleaned up by 5:30pm
Volunteers should wear a hat for food safety regulations

Next Tuesday, April 29th, 6-10pm
Come anytime and bring some friends. If you would like to eat as a group with SFL, come at 7pm
Be sure to give your receipt to an SFL member collecting them before you leave, and 15% of your bill will go to SFL
Homecoming Court nominations for next fall
Each student organization can nominate a girl and a guy to be on court for homecoming

Heartbeat newsletter, sent out to over 475 contacts
Baby shower for women at Our Lady’s Inn
Run for Their Lives, 150 participants
Scholarship, over $6000 have been raised thus far
