    1. Run Update

      1. April 12th, starts at 9am, set up will be earlier

      2. We need to increase registration! Spread the word about the Run!

      3. Need volunteers to work on the day of the Run

        • set-up, direct runners, be at the finish line, etc

        • you can register for the Run to get a T-shirt and then just volunteer; of if you want to run, you can help with set-up

      4. Committee meetings Wednesdays, 5:30pm, Campus Ministry coffeehouse if you would like to get involved

    2. Baby Shower Update

      1. Anyone who needs to turn baby bottle money in, email Sarah Pingel at sarah.pingel@gmail.com

      2. The shower will be on March 29th, leaving for Our Lady’s Inn at 12:30 and 1pm

      3. Volunteers needed! Guys can play with the kids!

      4. If you will be around SLU this Sunday, March 16th, please volunteer to collect money after the morning Masses at College Church, email Sarah if you are available

      5. Still looking for donations of new or gently used baby items (bring some back from spring break), bin in Campus Ministry

      6. After the SFL meeting on March 25th, we will be showing an Our Lady’s Inn video

    3. Funnel Cake Update

      1. We will have stands at Spring Fever and Relay for Life

    4. Chaifetz Fundraising

      1. For this project, we will split into teams so you don’t have to work at every event

      2. Members 21 and older will be needed in order for us to work concession stands

      3. If you sign up, please take this seriously. Please know that you will be expected to be there or find an alternate.

      4. We will need a captain for each team

    5. Scholarship Update

      1. At the meeting, we began a networking project within the group via survey

      2. Survey to help the committee get an idea of potential donors

      3. Included potential donor’s name, how you know the person, their possible motivation for giving, the amount they have the ability to give (we are not asking for money yet)

      4. Start to speak to these people about the Scholarship (seeing relatives over Easter will be a great opportunity!), no need to ask for a donation yet, just trying to get the word out

      5. The survey is attached, please fill it out and send it back to sflscholarship@gmail.com

  5. Opportunities

    1. Fish Fry

      1. Last week for the Knight’s of Columbus fish fry

      2. Come and volunteer and/or eat fish and chips

    2. Ethics survey via movie”

      1. After the meeting, Tim showed a TV show episode about law and ethics, survey afterwards, for a class

    3. Special Olympics

      1. April 19th, about 9am-2pm

      2. We are looking for someone to lead this event

      3. You will be matched up with a buddy to cheer them on through the games
