      1. The budget is being made up for next year, so if you have any ideas for events for next year that need to be budgeted for, please email sfl@slu.edu

    2. Fundraising Opportunity

      1. Chaifetz Arena food stands

      2. Groups can sign up to work a stand, will get a minimum of $100 per event

    3. Run Update

      1. Online registration is now open at the SFL website http://pages.slu.edu/org/sfl

      2. There is a Facebook event, so invite all your friends!

      3. Committee meeting tomorrow, Feb 27th, at 5:30pm in Campus Ministry to work on fundraising

    4. Baby Shower Update

      1. The date will be March 29th

      2. Collecting money in baby bottles has been very successful! Works well to explain what Our Lady’s Inn is and then pass the bottle around the room

      3. There is a bin in Campus Ministry for donations of baby items

    5. Scholarship Update

      1. The scholarship will be available to part-time or full-time students

      2. The endowment form has been submitted

      3. Now working on fundraising, networking

      4. Networking project: each member sends at least two letters to people they know who may be interested in donating to the scholarship

      1. April 19th, members showed interest in volunteering at this event, so we decided to go as a group

    2. Pray the Rosary outside Planned Parenthood with the Knights of Columbus

      1. This Saturday, March 1st, 9:00am

      2. Meeting behind Gries at 8:45am if you need a ride

      3. Email Tim Wright at twrigh12@slu.edu if you want to carpool and did not sign up at the meeting

    3. Tim's Ethics Study

      1. After next week’s SFL meeting, there will be a showing of an episode from a TV show about a life issue

      2. Tim wants to get people’s feedback on the episode for a class

      1. Invitation to all Catholic women interested in joining a sisterhood based upon Catholic values

      2. Tomorrow, Feb 27th, 5:15 Mass at College Church, followed by pizza in Campus Ministry

      3. Thursday, Feb 28th, weekly meeting in Campus Ministry coffeehouse at 9:00pm

    2. Service Leadership Awards

      1. For individuals and groups who have made an impact at SLU this year

      2. Anyone can be nominated, mostly for seniors, but there is a freshman award

      3. Selected by committees of faculty, staff, and students

    3. Relay for Life Letter Writing Night

      1. Tomorrow, Feb 27th, 5-8pm, BSC 170

      2. Relay will supply the letters, envelopes, and the stamps; you bring the names and addresses

      3. If you ask 10 people for $10, you will have met the goal of $100 set for each participant
