Steve Fowler: Cloning and Election
Missouri grass-roots movement is trying to get a ban on cloning on the ballot this November
We’ve been asked to work the polls next Tuesday, February 5th, handing out leaflets to inform people about the issue (they won’t be voting on it on Tuesday, this is just to get the word out to voters)
We need two groups of about 6 students, one for morning and one for evening
Locations are on Vandeventer and S. Grand, transportation will be provided

Run for Their Lives
The proceeds from this event will go toward the Scholarship fund
Meeting tomorrow, January 30th, at 5pm in Campus Ministry if you would like to volunteer to help (advertising, getting sponsorships, etc)

We are planning another Service Day for February

Last year we did a baby shower for 18 women at Our Lady’s Inn (a shelter for women in crisis pregnancies)
New Ideas? Or should we do the baby shower again?

New E-board Positions
Proposal for the Vice President position to be split into the VP of External Affairs and the VP of Internal Affairs
External Affairs: help represent the group before individuals, groups, and institutions, oversee the Respect Life Week Chair and the Run for Their Lives Chair
Internal Affairs: keep member contact info and meeting attendance, oversee March for Life Chair and Webmaster
Chair positions: Heartbeat Chair (editor--report to Secretary), Respect Life Week Chair, Run for Their Lives Chair, March for Life Chair, Webmaster

Daughters of Isabella Recruitment Week, Feb 19th-21st
D of I is an organization for Catholic women
Focuses include growing in faith, offering service, and building friendships
Meetings are on Thursdays at 9pm in the Campus Ministry coffeehouse and are always open to new members.
Clothing Drive with Criminal Justice Group
This February
Collecting clothing for ex-convicts who are just released from prison and are looking for jobs
Members agreed to co-sponsor this event, which entails helping to get the word out and collecting clothing.
