March for Life……………………………………………...Matt Von Rueden
A slide show of pictures from the March was presented
People wrote reflections on the way home from the March about what they plan to do for the Pro-Life movement in the next year. Some ideas were:
More discussion instead of preaching
Prayer
Involvement in legal action (writing to senators, etc)
E-mail family and friends about what SFL at SLU is up to, mention the PPSA fund
Volunteering
Praying outside an abortion clinic
Members discussed what they learned/discussed at the “breakout sessions” at the SFLA (Students for Life of America) conference
Working with other university pro-life groups in our area
Emphasizing how abortion hurts mothers
Adapting a college campus to accommodate parenting students
Using more careful language when talking about abortion increasing the risk of breast cancer
SFL at SLU won the “Group of the Year” for 2008 at the SFLA conference; this award came with $1000!
Congrats and thanks to our past presidents Kathleen Nuener and Kevin Grillot for playing a big role in making this happen!

Baby Shower Chairperson Needed………………………Hannah Diamond
SFL hosts a baby shower at Our Lady’s Inn in the spring

The baby shower gives the moms some time to relax and have a good time
Food, gifts, games, decorations, etc.
Requires a lot of planning, so we need someone to lead the organization of the event
