      1. Thursday, Jan 22nd, 11am -3pm in the BSC Ballrooms

      2. Involvement Fair, set up a table and tell interested students about SFL

      3. This is during the March for Life, so if you are not attending the March and would like to volunteer for a time slot at the fair, contact Matt at mvonrue1@slu.edu

    2. Internal Event: SLU Museum of Art...…....……………..Matt Von Rueden

      1. Right across the street from campus

      2. Date TBA, probably in February

    3. March for Life Informational Meeting Announcement………Laura Childs

      1. Next Tuesday instead of the regular meeting we will have a meeting for the March for Life

      2. What to bring, exact itinerary, etc (info will be e-mailed out also)

      3. Tell your friends who are going on the March but don’t normally come to SFL meetings

      2. Bring your SFL pictures to the next SFL meeting on a CD or USB Flash Drive, and Matt will upload them to his computer

    1. Freedom of Choice Act………………………………………..Sarah Pingel

      1. This act aims to remove restrictions that are currently on abortion, such as parental notification and the ban on partial birth abortion. It also would require faith-based facilities to perform abortions.

      2. Read more and sign the Fight FOCA petition online at www.fightfoca.com, and encourage your friends and family to do the same!

      3. On Jan 20th, we will have a table in the BSC with information and an opportunity for students to sign the petition, contact Hannah Diamond at hannah.diamond@gmail.com to volunteer

      1. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom Celebration: Dream. Hope. Change.

      2. Free presentation of photography, song, and music, this Saturday, January 17th, 7pm, St. Louis Art Museum in Forest Park

      3. This event ties in with our speaker, Dr. Alveda King, who is coming on February 24th

      1. Two committee members went abroad this semester

      2. One new member will be elected by the group, one will be appointed by the e-board

      3. Commitments include one meeting a week and willingness to be dedicated to the project

      4. Committee members generally serve for their entire time at SLU
