      1. Women’s Basketball:

        • Sunday, Nov 23rd at 4pm vs. Kansas (arrive at 1)

          • Two shifts, 1-4pm and 4-7pm

      2. Men’s Basketball:

        • Saturday, Dec 6th at 7pm vs. Savannah State (arrive at 4)

          • Two shifts, 4-7pm and 7-10pm

      1. Tomorrow, Wednesday, Nov 19th, at 7pm in Tegeler Auditorium

      2. Informational session for the March for Life

      3. There will be prizes and food, and a free trip will be given away!

      4. Bring friends who are interested in joining us for the March

      5. March for Life registration forms are on the SFL website at http://pages.slu.edu/org/sfl/ or in campus ministry

        • Fill out the forms and turn in to Campus Ministry along with your money ($125) by Dec 9th

      6. Spots will fill up fast, so get your seat soon!

    1. Run for Their Lives Chair……...………………………………Sarah Pingel

      1. Leads the organization of the Run (contact sponsors, create registration forms, ads/publicity, contact participants, order T-shirts, etc…)

      2. Committee will be formed to help the Run Chair

      3. If you have specific questions, contact last year’s Run Chair, Caitlin Boyce, at cboyce4@slu.edu

      4. This is a great learning leadership experience if you are interested in taking on future leadership roles within SFL

    1. Heartbeat” writers…..………………………………………Katrina Becker

      1. Katrina asked members to volunteer to write articles for the Dec/Jan issue of the newsletter, and all article topics that were needed were covered


    1. Forest Park Hayride………………………………………Matt Von Rueden

      1. Friday, Dec 5th, 7:05pm, we will be leaving SLU by 6:30pm

      2. The cost is $5

    1. Scholarship Fundraising Presentation..……………………….Brian Reilly

      1. Members put on a skit about how to bring up the Scholarship to family members and ask for donations

      2. Thanksgiving is a great time to ask for donation because people are in the “giving mood”

      3. Bring it up while sitting around the dinner table when someone asks what you are thankful for or how your semester at SLU is going

      4. People respond very positively when they hear what the Scholarship is about

      5. Currently, the funds stand at $7,783 plus $3,000 that has been pledged

      6. We need everyone’s help to reach our goal of $25,000!!!

      7. Hannah Diamond has raised over $250 for the Scholarship, so she was able to pick from several gift cards

      8. Scholarship committee members passed around pamphlets to give to potential donors and sheets with tips on fundraising, the sheet is attached to the email sent out with these Minutes

      1. Kevin Fitzmaurice, who has made an effort to talk about the Scholarship to people, and has committed a lot of time to working at Chaifetz
