Scholarship Fundraising Presentation..……………………….Brian Reilly
Members put on a skit about how to bring up the Scholarship to family members and ask for donations
Thanksgiving is a great time to ask for donation because people are in the “giving mood”
Bring it up while sitting around the dinner table when someone asks what you are thankful for or how your semester at SLU is going
People respond very positively when they hear what the Scholarship is about
Currently, the funds stand at $7,783 plus $3,000 that has been pledged
We need everyone’s help to reach our goal of $25,000!!!
Hannah Diamond has raised over $250 for the Scholarship, so she was able to pick from several gift cards
Scholarship committee members passed around pamphlets to give to potential donors and sheets with tips on fundraising, the sheet is attached to the email sent out with these Minutes
Donations may be made online at http://pages.slu.edu/org/sfl/ppsa_index.html
