MADD was last Saturday, we traveled to the St. Charles Our Lady’s Inn
About 15 members participated in MADD with SFL
They were so surprised and happy that we got so much done! Some projects included cleaning the kitchen, raking leaves, mulching trees, cleaning a garden, staining a fence, and painting pumpkins with the kids.
Children's Hospital Dance Marathon………………………...Caitlin Boyce
Took place on the evening after MADD
11 SFL members danced all night
A total of $131,000 was raised at the event

Forest Park Hayride………………………………………Matt Von Rueden
Friday, November 14th
Ride through Forest Park, wagons leave at intervals between 7 and 8:20 pm, 45 minute ride, drop off at the picnic grounds where a bonfire is waiting, we can bring hotdogs and marshmallows to roast
$5-10 per person, depending on the number who sign up
It is $100 per wagon, up to 20 people on a wagon

Party for local kids so they have a safe place to treat or treat and have some Halloween fun, about 15 student organizations will have booths
Friday, October 31st, BSC Ballroom
3-4pm set-up, 4-6pm the kids will be there
Our booth will be making Halloween masks from paper plates
Volunteers are encouraged to dress up, but not required

We are no longer doing Carrie Underwood on Dec 5th
Basketball games, Nov 5th(men’s) and 7th(women’s)
4pm to 10-11pm, we can divide into two shifts if enough people sign up

Members are encouraged to raise as much money as possible by talking to family and friends
Members raising over $250 will be entered into a raffle for various gift cards
We need everyone’s help if we are to reach our goal of $25,000!
March for Life Chairperson……………………………… Matt Von Rueden
We are looking for a member to lead our annual trip to Washington, D.C. for the March for Life, to commemorate the anniversary of Roe v. Wade on January 22nd
The Chair will be in charge of publicity for the March (including the “Pack the Buses” event), organizing registration, creating the itinerary, handling correspondence, and organizing host families. The Chair can create a committee.
