      1. $272 dollars was collected in the baby bottles during Respect Life Week for Our Lady’s Inn

      1. Total Respect Life Week Expenditure: $349.28

        • Great job to Hannah Diamond for organizing a successful RLW while keeping costs so low

      2. Total money raised by your work at the Chaifetz concessions thus far: $1,323.97!!!

      3. Chaifetz earnings given to the Pregnant and Parenting Scholarship fund: $731. 50

      4. Total amount raised for the Scholarship: $7,109.43

        • Nearly 30% of the way toward our goal of endowment at $25,000!

      5. SGA account balance: ~$3,900

      6. US Bank account balance: $1,587.89

      1. Women’s Volleyball:

        • Saturday, Nov 22nd at 5:30pm (arrive at 3:30)

        • Saturday, Nov 22nd at 8pm (arrive at 6)

        • Need 3 people each


      1. Women’s Basketball:

        • Sunday, Nov 23rd at 4pm vs. Kansas (arrive at 1)

      2. Men’s Basketball:

        • Saturday, Dec 6th at 7pm vs. Savannah State (arrive at 4)

      3. These events may be broken into shifts if you are not able to work the entire event

      4. As you can see from the above Treasury Report, working at Chaifetz is really profitable for our group and is significantly helping the Scholarship fund!

    1. External VP Position Opening...………………………………Sarah Pingel

      1. Kevin Grillot will be studying abroad next semester, so External VP Sarah Pingel will take the role of President, as stated in our Constitution

      2. The E-board will choose a new EVP from a pool of applicants

      3. A position description for EVP is on the application attached to the email sent out with these Minutes

      4. The EVP is basically in charge of events and contacts that are outside of Students for Life; Ex: Sarah is currently working hard to bring Dr. Alevda King to campus next semester

    1. Scholarship Fundraising.……………………………………….Brian Reilly

      1. An article about the Scholarship was published in the St. Louis Review, we are now all over Google!

      2. A huge fundraising effort will be focused over Thanksgiving break

      3. Attend next week’s meeting to learn how to ask for money from friends and relatives

      4. Gift cards are still available to any member who raises over $250

      1. We could not get a wagon for Nov 14th, but we have one reserved for Dec 5th at 7:05pm

      2. There are only 20 spots on the wagon, so the first 20 people to sign up and turn in their $5 to Matt will get to go


    1. March for Life, Washington, D.C.

        • Thanks, Laura, for taking on this important position!

        • Leave Wednesday, Jan 21st, in the afternoon

        • March for Life on Thursday, Jan 22nd

        • Friday, Jan 23rd, is a free day to explore Washington, D.C., there will be a dinner that evening

        • We will attend a conference on Saturday, Jan 24th, and then head back to SLU

        • Return on Sunday, Jan 25th, so you will only miss two days of classes

        • We are only taking one bus for 56 people due to cost constraints, so register early!

        • Cost is $125

        • There will be paper applications this year, a PDF file will be on the SFL website soon, print out and turn in to Campus Ministry with your money

        • Members interested in helping out on the March for Life committee stayed after the SFL meeting

        • There will be snacks, a game, a free trip to give away, and info about the March

      1. 4th Annual Undergraduate Marriage, Family, and Dating Theological Conference; titled “Singleness: a Vocation and a Lifestyle”

      3. Students will present papers and the guest speaker will be Dr. Jana Bennett, PhD, of the University of Dayton
