Maintenance of fourteen separate budget accounts including reconciliation, coordination of requisition, oversight of purchasing, travel, records and payment and compliance oversight of departmental staff regarding policies and procedures for budget maintenance. Results: A review in December 2008 by the University internal audit office showed high satisfaction of my performance.
Responsible for overseeing part-time and adjunct instructor appointments, payroll and appointment letters, as well as assist with faculty search process. Result: Liaison between the Human Resource department and the School of Pharmacy, ensuring a smooth process from search to integration of new employees to the school.
Management of three departmental support staff and coordination of both professional and support staff schedules, monitoring vacation, sick and personal days. Result: Complete office coverage, appropriate HR tracking and reporting.
Coordinator for School of Pharmacy special events. Planning and execution of The Webb Lecture and Back to School BBQ.
Establish and maintain administrative systems to ensure the highest efficacy in all departments. Result: Created an on-line shared calendar to schedule conference rooms and school activities. The system works to avoid departmental scheduling conflicts and increase attendance to open events by advertising activities to outside constituents.
