Help us to always listen carefully to your Word, through the stories our leaders tell, the discussion we share with our friends, the songs we sing, and in all the quiet ways you come to us in moments of silence. With your Son and Holy Sprit, you are one God, and we ask these things in your Holy Name.
All: Amen.
Songleader: Offers any special comments and leads singing.
Storyteller: Now it's time to get ready to hear another of God’s special stories. <songleader> will lead us in singing, "This is the Day."
This is the day, this is the day,
That the Lord has made, that the Lord has made.
We will rejoice, we will rejoice,
And be glad in it, and be glad in it.
This is the day that the Lord has made.
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
This is the day, this is the day,
That the Lord has made.
