Perrigrin's Little Black Book of Lich King Raids
Short notes on the LK raids, with links to appropriate guides. Just meant as an easily accessible way to remember and find strats.

Naxxramas
(off Dragonblight)
Arachnid/Spider Quarter
Usually first target. North East.

Off tank Crypt Guards away from raid, DPS Guards down ASAP, AE scarabs, tank in corner facing away from raid - Kite around when casting Locust Swarm.
Raid stay out of Swarm, Off tanks be quick, Heal Impales, 10 minute enrage. 10 man, no Guards at start, summons 1 per Swarm. 25 man, 2 guards at once, summons 2 per Swarm.

Offtank worshippers (take to 30%, then only kill to stop Frenzy). Tank move out of rain of fire, move to worshipper when frenzy. Dispell poisions asap. DPS stay out of rain of fire, dont kill worshippers unless to dispell frenzy. Heroic, kill 2 followers first and use mind control to dispell frenzy. Around 5 minute enrage timer.

Poision cleansing totem is vital. After first cocoon, all will land in same place - range dps break as quickly as possible (kill web wrap). Web Spray (every 40s) will stun all of raid for 6 seconds, HoTs on tank is important for this (as well as Abolish Poison). Clear tank of Necrotic Poison always asap. Frenzy at 30%. Spawns spiderlings 30s then every 40s, Frost Nova + AE quick. Position raid behind her, never aggro and turn her - Tank at spawn facing wall. Raid align to the side of the Web Wrap spot. If low on HoT, hold just above 30% hp and then burn just after Web Spray.

Plague Quarter
Second in difficulty. South East.

Make sure all are in room before pulling. Decurse heavy fight (decurse always prio 1). Blink in HC resets aggro. Offtank(s) grab skeletons, Tank facing away from raid. Balcony phasese, raid groups up and AE skeletons.

Disease cleanse good. Know eruption patterns. Phase 1, dps and tank+melee move 1-2-3-4-3-2-1. Phase 2, just stay alive and all dance. Aggro stays, so build lots in phase 1.

Gauntlet leading up to him, quick respawns etc.
Raid stays away from the tank to help him avoid fungal creep debuff (no threat, more crit). Keep tank topped up when debuff not active (3 second window when no necrotic aura) - note that this block is counted when spell lands, ie can cast early. Group up and kill spores away from tank.
Military Quarter rewi
Third in difficulty, not harder gear wise - but execution wise. South West. Most thrash in the instance.

Requires 2 priests in HC. Rotate tank with mind controlled understudies. Ie, when BB drops of tank 1, tank 2 will go BB-Taunt. Every time Taunt is available, BB-Taunt. Heal MC:d understudies. Tank far away from crystals, re-MC just after a switch to ensure uptime of MC. Raid will take AE damage. Kill MC:d tanks after boss.

Left side (entrance) = Live side; Right side = Dead side. Dead side hits considerably harder. Split raid, tank mobs a bit from raid.
Kill order: Riders > Trainees (keep off healers). Top up HP once all spawns die, move to Gothik teleport spots. DPS hard. Once gate opens, reunite raid and kill boss.

Swap sides when marks reaches 3-4. Kill Thane first. Buff shadow resist, no need for gear.
Thane Korth'azz and Baron Rivendare are melee tank mobs that move. Kill FAST. (Impossible for 2x pally tanks as they cant "swap mobs")
Lady Blaumeux (void zones) and Sir Zeliek (spread out) has 'fixed' spots and aggros closest player and can be danced by 2 high hp DPS/healers.

Hardest in Naxx, both in gear and execution. North West. Long thrash clear to patch, then little and no thrash.

Tank and heal test. Amp. magic will help healing (only phys. dmg.). Melee dps reduce their hp if needed using slime, hatefull strike will hit highest hp, highest threat (that is not max threat) - Ie 2 tanks at top threat, hatefull at top hp. Berserk after 5 minutes, needs to be dead before that - If not spread out and DPS to have a small chance.

6 minute berserk. Tank moves boss around the edge of the room, facing away from raid (in center), only need to move on poison cloud spawn. Offtank grabs spawn that come after spray. DPS always on slime if available (fast). Whoever gets "mutilated injection" needs to move away from raid, for instance to ramp. Don't ever let it run out or be dispelled near other players; most likely best to not dispel it at all.

Will berserk after 4th decimate (approx. 8 mins). Tanks will swap aggro. at 3-5 mortal wound stacks. When boss enrages (every 30 seconds) a hunter tranq. shots him, or a rogue uses aesthetic poison 2 to clear.

Stalagg and Feugen needs to be killed within approx. 5 seconds of each other. Do not pull them of their platforms, 2 tanks get swapped and pulled over now and then. Once they die, move on to front of Thaddius. Negative charges move to left of Thaddius, positive to the right (direction given facing his spawn). If you get swapped during fight, run around clockwise (as to not people with opposing charges go to close - through Thad might work to). 6 minute enrage timer.
Frostwyrm Lair
Unlocked by completing the other four quarters. Take the blue teleport tab above the zone in portal in the middle.

Frost gear is appropriate for the raid as the frost aura will damage all, MT needs tank set on though. Decurse is priority one. Watch out for tail sweep in the back and cleave in the front - i.e. melee dps from the side. Tank him facing north, away from the entrance of the lair. Raid spread out and be ready to move out of chill. Tank, heal and spank phase 1 for 60 s (avoiding chills). Chill starts small, expands and moves, a intelligent Blizzard. MT don't need to care if he gets hit. Max DPS early in phase 1. Phase 2, air phase, last 30 s. Spread out, and as soon as someone is "ice blocked", hide directly behind him (relative the bomb, center). Land and back to phase 1 (careful with aggro as he lands).

Mana regen, some frost resist (1 piece on dps plus frost aura).
Phase 1: Stay alive for 4 minutes of incoming adds. Kill skeletons and banshees from range, tank abominations. Wait for adds, don't pull them.
Phase 2: Spread out. Try to interrupt frost bolts. Stay away from shadow fissures. HC: CC/off tank charmed players.
Phase 3: Off tank guardians (2 normal, 4 HC). DPS Race, max dps (on Kel) as the guardians will hit harder and harder.
(off Dragonblight, portal underneath Wyrmrest Temple); Can be killed with 0, 1, 2 or 3 of the guardians up.
Shadron
Tank facing away from raid, over the cliff he stands on. Approx. every 30 s he will open portal, dps+healer go in and kill Acolyte asap. Everyone (even tank) needs to watch for and quickly avoid shadow fissures.
Tenebron
Tank facing away from raid, over the cliff he stands on. Approx. every 30 s he will open portal, either go in and kill eggs asap, or wait and whelps will come out of the portal that can be AEd (on top of Tene). Everyone (even tank) needs to watch for and quickly avoid shadow fissures.
Vesperon
Tank facing away from raid, over the cliff he stands on. Approx. every 30 s he will open portal, dps+healer go in and kill Acolyte asap. Everyone (even tank) needs to watch for and quickly avoid shadow fissures.
Sartharion+0
10 minute enrage timer. Don't stand in lava moats. MT pulls from south, and starts tanking on NE island - Sarth facing north. Raid attacking from west side of Sarth. Avoid tail swipes and flame breaths. Every 30 s, flame tsunami will hit. It's easy to see safe areas by looking on the 'rising' fire.
North: MT can stay on island, raid go to middle area.
South: MT moves, raid go to west of middle area.
Every 10-20 s a fire cyclone will hit - Some will be turned in to blaze spawns, off tank grab these - DPS kill them ASAP (prio. over Sarth).
At 10%, a massive amount of blazes will spawn, off tank grab them - But DPS burn down Sarth.
Eye of Eternity
(off Borean Tundra, portal at the Nexus); Summoned using the Key to the Focusing Iris, 100% drop of Sapphiron in Naxx (need 10 man key for 10 man Malygos, and 25 man key for 25 man Malygos). Complicated fight, not hard gear wise - But do require a strong main tank. Good to have a stunner/rooter. Group healing is almost a must in the heal team.
10 minute berserk timer. Frontal very high damage AE makes tank healing top prio. MT should set up Maly to face north, raid standing behind to the south (no tail swipe). Every 60 s, the raid will be thrown in the air, taking 2000 d/s (vortex), only insta. cast spells work - Ie priest/druid healers are a must. Stun and kill power sparks ASAP, if they reach Maly=+50% damage. When in vortex, watch minimap and all but MT turns south, MT turn north - run when landing to position right. Burn fast in phase 1 to get more time later (trinket etc just after a vortex). 50% phase 2 - Kill adds. Tank Nexus Lords, kill asap. Melee mount discs that drop when they die (right click). Scions also drop discs when they die. Make sure you are in purple bubbles from Malys bolts, moving to a new bubble as soon as it appears (unless deep breath is cast). If you are outside a bubble, pot or HS to full hp or die from Scion nukes.
Phase 3, drake flight. Drakes work like rogues, all players have same abilities. Each group needs to have 3 dps and 2 healers, and groups should stick together (stand together once last scion dies in p2). Hc, groups surround Maly, 10m, groups next to, but not on top of each other. Always avoid the static fields (ball of electric power), stay out of pulse range (30 y).
DPS
- 2x Flame Spike
- Wait for 85 energy, cast Engulf in Flames + 2x Flame Spike
- Wait for 85 energy and repeat above.
- If Maly focuses on you - Wait for "Surge of Power" to finish, then use Flame Shield at once. If no combo points, do 2x Flame Spike, then shield.
Healer
- Keep group members in range.
- Revivfy player 1, 2 ,3, 4
- Wait for 85 energy
- Revivify most damaged player
- Life Burst same player
- Repeat above
- If Maly focuses "Surge of Power" on y ou, do a 2nd Revivify on current target and then Flame Shield.
Once Maly dies, open gem for loot, if you die, release and run back - Will get new drake.
Vault of Archavon
(off portal in Wintergrasp Fortress when your faction controls Lake Wintergrasp);
Archavon Warder
4 of these is the thrash of the instance. Easy to kill, but if tank gets more than 1 knockback per mob, DPS is low.
5 minute berserk timer. Tank him against back of circular room, raid spread out behind him. MT with off tank 2nd on threat. Get out of clouds if he leaps near/on you. If you get rock shards, stand still, if someone near you gets it - Move. Don't out-threat the off tank. Max DPS, bloodlust at 20%.
Tanks: Don't chase when he leaps. When he stomps/impales off tank MUST be 2nd on threat, as soon as MT is released he will taunt back.
Emalon the Storm Watcher (http://www.bosskillers.com/cgi-bin/bbguild/index.cgi?action
=view_guide&guide_id=659&sid=BMhPTlsKWB)Added with a content patch and can be found in the eastern wing of VoA. 2 tanks, 2-3 healers depending on gear, 2k+ dps needed. MT tanks Emalon in back, facing away, OT tanks adds outside 20y (Lightning Nova) range - left or right of steps. All DPS need to be spread out to avoid CL damage, and melee dps needs to avoid nova. DPS on Emalon, except when an add gets overcharge buff - Then it needs to be killed super quick. New add will spawn and needs to be tanked.
