Peace and blessings!
Are we facing a trial? Is the love of Elohim being shed abroad in our heart, or are we angry or bitter or offended?
Rom 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
Rom 5:4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
Rom 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of Elohim is shed abroad in our hearts by Ha Ruach Kodesh which is given unto us.
I was meditating on the sermon our Messiah gave on the mount, and it struck me how we ask YHWH to take away our blessings and we even ask our brothers and sisters to ask for us as well! We hurt and we want others to see our hurt and feel bad for us. We are taught in the sermon our Messiah gave how blessed we are when: And He goes on to explain how we are blessed.
Mat 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Mat 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Mat 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Mat 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Mat 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see Elohim.
Mat 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of Elohim
Mat 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Have we ever wept before YHWH when we are poor in spirit, mourning, persecuted for rightoeusness sake, reviled and persecuted and spoken against falsely? Ever notice how when those things take place, we begin to feel very much "unblessed"? Faith comes by hearing, and this encourages and strengthens my faith. I believe that our "healing" comes in following YHWH's way and will for us. He went on to teach us:
Mat 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
Imagine if YHWH hearing our moaning and self pity took away the blessings He promised us in exchange for feeling better? Of course we would not want to have YHWH remove all His awesome blessings from us. So what is really taking place during our "trials"? When we rejoice and are exceeding glad...(I don't mean fake it :) ) When we truly begin to glory in tribulations, and understand that in the tribulation we are being taught patience, and through patience, we are gaining experience, and through our experience we rely on our "hope".
We need to access the faith that lies within us, and knowing this:
Rom 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with Elohim through our Master Yahushua Ha Moshiach,
Rom 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of Elohim
We can have peace in the midst of any storm we are going through..knowing, that we have access by faith, in our Master Yahushua, to YHWH's grace, and we can and must glory in the hope we have in YHWH! This hope "makes us not ashamed, :
Rom 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of Elohim is shed abroad in our hearts by Ha Ruach Kodesh which is given unto us.
Praise YHWH for lifting us above the "trial" we are in to be able to pause and rejoice in HIM, and embrace the love being shed abroad in our hearts through Ha Ruach Kodesh! Praise Him for His perfection in us!
