To use the styles option, you must have the task pane on the right side of the screen and select each heading and use headings 1, 2, or 3.

To export to Power Point you must have all the different headings selected and click on the “Convert to PP” icon on the top of the screen. Your text will convert into PP.
The toolbar is the bars on top of the page with all the various icons you can use. To Customize the toolbar, right click on a empty space on the bar and a menu will drop down with your toolbar icon options.

To edit or work with Headers and Footers, click on ‘View’ on the top of the screen, then select, ‘Headers and Footers’.

Inserting page numbers is very similar to working with headers and footers. Click “View” and “Headers and Footers”. The toolbar that pops up will allow you to add page numbers, captions, and sections to your work.
To insert a caption to a picture, Right click on the image and click on ‘Caption’.
To track changes on a document, Right Click empty space on the top of the tool bar. Select REVIEWING, Click ‘Track Changes’. They will be highlighted, then you must accept or reject the changes.
To get a word count for your document, select the text that you want counted and click on ‘Tools’ and then ‘Word Count’
First you must install Zotero using FireFox. After installing, you must restart FireFox, and the program will be ready to run.
To insert a reference on zotero you must be on an academic site then simply click ‘Insert Reference’
You may edit you reference lists through zotero at any time, you can add notes and select sections of your reference to insert into MS Word.
