1. Initial Problem/Situation
1. Extension had lots of images scattered across different individual computers
2. No way to search for images when needed
3. As non-IT staff took over editing website, they had a need for images
2. Software developed
1. Developed Coldfusion based web application for cataloging, tagging, and searching images
2. Pretty basic system
3. Assessment
1. System is functional (5000+ images), but rudimentary
2. There are other digital assets besides pictures (videos, presentations, documents, etc.) that have similar requirements.
3. Currently developing more robust system that will handle many different digital assets and allow for making them publicly accessible
