Targoviste town- between myth and reality The judges thought that the video in itself meets the objective of students presenting their town as part of an eTwinning project. Interesting angle using the Dracula myth and what it means to locals. Usability-wise the cd-rom did not play smoothly so the web link was necessary. In combination with the blog http://draculabetweenthelines.blogspot.com/ it takes on more meaning as there are other resources (ebooks, discussion questions). The images, interviews, soundtrack, subtitles in English used appropriately, but sometimes the message is not clear as there is too much information to interpret. The judges took into account the fact that this is a student production and they suggested the following possible improvements: filming more local historical locations, more student work on scenario writing and some of the technical aspects such as sound recording, subtitling, light balance, focus.
