OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA WHO ARE THE AGE OF MAJORITY (19 OR OLDER IN AL, NE, 18 OR OLDER IN ALL OTHER STATES) AND LOCATED IN THE U.S. AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. VOID ELSEWHERE AND WHEREVER PROHIBITED BY LAW.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE CHANCE OF WINNING.

ELIGIBILITY: Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are the age of majority (19 or older in AL, NE, 18 or older in all other states) and located in the U.S. at the time of entry. Employees, directors and officers of Lockergnome (“Sponsor”), Symantec Corporation (“Prize Provider”), and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, dealers, distributors, resellers, retailers, advertising, fulfillment, judging and promotion agencies, including (collectively, “Sweepstakes Parties”), and their immediate family members (parent, child, sibling and spouse of each) and those living in their same households (whether or not related) of each are not eligible. Winner must be medically fit to participate in zero gravity flight and/or suborbital flight as determined by Prize Provider in its sole discretion. Void where prohibited.

PROMOTION PERIOD: Promotion begins on December 30, 2008 at 12:00:01 pm Pacific Standard Time (“PST”) and ends January 10, 2009 at 11:59:59 am PST (the “Promotion Period”). The Sweepstakes Sponsor’s time clock is the official clock for this Promotion.

TO ENTER: During the Promotion Period, complete the Official On-line Entry Form, available at http://geeks.pirillo.com (“Website”) with all information requested, including the name, address, home phone number, and e-mail address, and date of birth of the entrant (“Entrant”) In order for entry to be valid, entrants must complete all required information, agree to these Official Rules, and submit the entry through the Website. Additionally, entrant must meet the following conditions (“Conditions”) prior to the end of the Promotion Period:


All Entries must be received no later than 11:59:59 am on January 10, 2009. LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER PERSON, HOUSEHOLD AND/OR E-MAIL ADDRESS PER DAY. MULTIPLE ENTRIES WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. Sweepstakes Parties assume no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, stolen, mutilated, illegible, undelivered, garbled, damaged, incomplete entries or submissions, or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. Sweepstakes Parties also assume no responsibility for any technical problems in connection with transmission or receipt of online entries including faulty electronic data transmission, traffic congestion on the Internet or on the Website, hardware or software error, equipment failure or malfunction, or other online communications problems. All entrants must have a valid email address. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet Access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned to entrant. Automated entries (including but not limited to entries made using any script, macro, bot, or sweepstakes service) and facsimiles are not allowed. Potential winner may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry.

WINNER SELECTION: Winner will be selected in a random drawing to take place on or about January 15, 2009 by an independent judging organization (“Judge”), whose decisions are final and binding on all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winner will be notified by mail. If any prize correspondence (including e-mail) is returned as non-deliverable, prize may be forfeited. Potential winner is subject to verification, including verification of age and medical fitness as determined by Prize Provider. Winner will also be required to complete, sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release, and, where lawful, a Publicity Release within five (5) days of attempted notification or prize may be forfeited.

PRIZES: Winner will receive one (1) zero gravity flight (“Zero Gravity Flight”) on or about February 21, 2009 and the opportunity to submit one (1) entry in a drawing for a suborbital flight (“Suborbital Flight Drawing”).

Zero Gravity Flight: Prize includes round-trip, coach class air transportation for one (1) from any airport in the U.S. to launch city departing February 20, 2009 and returning February 22, 2009; one (1) standard hotel room for two (2) nights/three (3) days; ground transportation to and from the airport; ground transportation to and from the Zero Gravity Flight launch facility; and meals. Approximate retail value (“ARV”) up to $7,500 USD, depending upon winner’s point of travel origin and airfare fluctuations at the time of taking the trip. Any differences between stated and actual value will not be awarded. Selection of airline and hotel are solely within Prize Provider’s discretion. All other expenses not specifically mentioned herein are solely the winner’s responsibility. Expenses related to acceptance and use of the prize and not specified herein are the sole responsibility of the winner. All travel must be taken on dates specified; no alternative travel dates are available or prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate. All travel subject to availability and restrictions. Winner must sign and return a travel release before any ticketing of travel occurs. Winner is solely responsible for obtaining all necessary identification and/or governmental travel documents (e.g., a valid U.S. driver’s license, passport, etc) required for travel to launch city. (Approximate Retail Value: $7,500 USD).

Suborbital Flight Drawing: Winner will receive the opportunity to submit one (1) entry into a drawing for a chance to win a suborbital flight that will depart at a date and time and from a location to be determined by Prize Provider’s in its sole discretion. Suborbital Flight Drawing will be conducted exclusively in the United States on or about February 21, 2009. Suborbital Flight Drawing is subject to its Official Rules found at http://nortontoday.symantec.com/features/detours/blastoff/suborbitalrules.php. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible participants, but in no case will be less than I in 32.

No substitution, cash redemption or transfer of prize is permitted except at Prize Provider’s sole discretion. If prize, or any portion thereof, cannot be awarded for any reason, Prize Provider reserves the right to substitute prize with another prize of equal or greater value. Any portion of the prize not accepted by winner shall be forfeited.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: Prize will be awarded only to an address within the United States. Winner is solely responsible for any local, state, and/or federal taxes on prize. Winner will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the approximate retail value of the prize. This Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and local laws. By participating, Entrants agree to these Official Rules, Sponsor’s Privacy Policy (available at http://geeks.pirillo.com/main/authorization/PrivacyPolicy), and to the Judge’s decisions, which are final and binding in all respects. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who is responsible for or who tampers with the entry process, including through the use of duplicate profiles or IP addresses on the Website, or otherwise cheating, and to cancel, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes and select the winner from all eligible entries received prior to the cancellation or termination. This Sweepstakes is offered only in the United States and is governed by the laws of the state of California, with venue in Santa Clara County, California, and all claims must be resolved in the federal or state courts of Santa Clara County, California.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE: Prior to being verified as a prize winner, selected Entrant must provide medical information or undergo a medical examination as required by Sponsor. By accepting the prize, Winner agrees that the Sweepstakes Parties, participating retailers, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by winner against, any liability for injuries, losses or damages of any kind to persons or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the Sweepstakes; from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize; or from participation in any prize-related activity or any travel related thereto, including, but not limited to the Zero Gravity Flight and/or Suborbital Flight. BY ACCEPTING PRIZE, WINNER ACCEPTS THE INHERENTLY DANGEROUS NATURE AND RISK IN BEING A PASSENGER ON A ZERO GRAVITY FLIGHT AND/OR SUBORBITAL FLIGHT, INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR DEATH, ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HIS/HER PARTICIPATION IN THE PRIZE EVENTS IS VOLUNTARY, ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THERE ARE NATURAL FACTORS AND OCCURRENCES WHICH MAY IMPACT ON OR AFFECT THE SAFETY OF THE ACTIVITIES HE/SHE IS PARTICIPATING IN AND HE/SHE ASSUMES THE RISK OF SUCH FACTORS AND OCCURRENCES AND AGREES THAT SWEEPSTAKES PARTIES SHALL NOT BE IN ANY WAY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY RESULTING INJURY AND/OR DEATH. Except if winner is a resident of TN or where prohibited by law, Winner grants (and agrees to confirm this grant in writing, if requested) permission for Sponsor and those acting under their authority to use his/her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, for advertising and/or publicity purposes in any and all media now known or hereinafter invented without territorial or time limitations and without additional compensation.
