Description
Students will be asked questions based on certain TEKS.
Questions may be multiple choice, true/false, open ended
3 cheats will be available - cheat from class or internet, copy another student's paper, use a life line (admin or teacher)
Rules:
Start by flipping a coin.
All questions are worth the same amount of points, which in our case is 1 point.
If Team A wins the toss then they get the first question.
If they miss it or can't answer then Team B gets a shot.
If Team B gets the correct answer they will still get their original turn, however if they miss it then it will go back to the first group..
If a student argues with the teacher or other students, they are out.
A facilitator will ask the questions. Someone not related to either class.

Time
This activity will take one video conference. This will take approximately one class period. This activity depends on the participants. It can take one or more class periods.
Preparation
The teacher must converse with the other teacher to decide on specific details.
You must find a facilitator that is unbiased to both sides.
Since many of the Science questions on the TAKS are visual, make sure the pictures you use are easy to read.
PowerPoint for questioning
Have students from the schools come up with questions.
Allow students explain the rules and regulations

Implementation Plans
This is an activity that can be done as many times as you want. It can be done with various grade levels and subject areas. It is open to what works for your classroom. I can see it being done at the end of study units for reviews and before TAKS to have a fun way to prepare.
