God is the only One who know who you really are because He created you.
We must learn to see ourselves as God sees us. - beautiful, redeemed, and wonderfully made.
Week 1
You Are God's Delight
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands."
God:
- looks at you is valuable
- looks at you as loved
- looks at you as a one of a kind treasure
- delights in you
- takes joy in you
- loves you more than you can know
The only voice that matters when figuring out who you really are is God's voice.
"As for the saints who are in the land, they are the glorious ones in whom is all My delight."
God finds all of His delight in you.
"The LORD brought Me forth as the first of His works, before His deeds of old;
I was appointed from eternity, from the beginning, before the world began.
When there were no oceans, I was given birth, when there were no springs abounding with water; before the mountains were settled in place, before the hills, I was given birth,
before He made the earth or its fields or any of the dust of the world. I was there when He set the heavens in place, when He marked out the horizon on the face of the deep,
when He established the clouds above and fixed securely the fountains of the deep,
when He gave the sea its boundary so the waters would not overstep His command,
and when He marked out the foundations of the earth. Then I was the craftsman at His side.
I was filled with delight day after day, rejoicing always in His presence,
"The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." - Zephaniah 3:17
You are God's treasure possession.
"For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be His people, His treasured possession."
