MTA will hold a FREE ‘How To Audition’ Workshop at Actor’s Theatre on 650 E. Stonewall Street on Saturday, June 20, 2009 from 1pm - 3pm. This workshop will be conducted by Anne Lambert of Charlotte’s Off Broadway, Scott Pacitti of Actor’s Crib and other area directors. Actors will have the opportunity to ask questions and practice their audition pieces; the facilitators will offer suggestions, critiques and audition tips to actors and area newcomers who may not have previously experienced a Unified process.
The workshop is intended to not only to introduce you to the basics of auditioning but to help prepare you for the Unified Auditions and other open casting sessions. Please arrive with a piece you intend to use for auditions as material to work with during the workshop, and dress in the outfit you intend to wear to the Unified Auditions on July 18.
